For the people who keep showing up.
As November begins, I keep coming back to the people who have made this year meaningful: the familiar faces at my events. The people who check in, encourage me, and make time to be part of what I’m creating. The new friendships that have filled my heart in ways I never expected.
Seeing someone walk through the door because they want to be there for me means more than I can explain. You don’t have to buy anything. Knowing you made the time, seeing your face, and sharing that moment with you is a gift all its own.
The People Who Keep Showing Up
To my mom, my bestie Donna, my nieces, and my family: thank you for being right here beside me. Seeing your familiar faces at my events, hearing your encouragement, and knowing you want to be part of this chapter means so much.
Sometimes support looks like showing up, checking in, sharing a post, or simply saying, “I’m proud of you.” Those moments stay with me. You may not realize how much they mean, but I carry that love and encouragement into everything I create.
My Wood Wire & Whimsy family has become part of that circle, too. I’m grateful for the friendships, the encouragement, and everything we learn from one another. Having a place to share my creations has been wonderful. Getting to know the people who make that place special has meant even more.
Two Retreats That Touched My Soul
October brought me to two very different retreats, and each gave me so much to be grateful for.
Moon Spell Serenity with Jamie at Glow and Peace @glowandpeace in Pawling, New York, was my first retreat, and what a beautiful introduction! From the magical opening night to goat yoga, time with the horses, and a deeply touching group spinal energetics session, there was so much to take in.
But I’m especially grateful for the friendships. These women encouraged and celebrated one another, even helping me feel comfortable during our witchy photo shoot. Every woman there touched my soul, and I truly feel we were brought together for a reason.
My path to Awaken Your Soul began when Maggie (Maggie) stopped at my Lotus Harbor table during the grand opening of Bloom mind.body.soul and asked about customized journals. I was excited about the opportunity, but I had no idea how much that meeting would come to mean.
What began as a creative collaboration grew into meaningful friendships and the chance to experience the retreat myself. Seeing everyone with their personalized journals was special. The kindness, encouragement, and time shared with Maggie, Charlotte, Lou Ann, and the other attendees are what I’m carrying home in my heart. To me, it was divine timing.

Creating Together, Growing Together
When I started Lotus Harbor, collaboration was one of the things I wanted most. Creating alongside others, sharing ideas, and cheering one another on has always been part of my vision.
Working with Maggie, Charlotte, and Lou Ann on the retreat journals brought that vision to life. Charlotte later shared these words:
“These journals were such a meaningful part of our retreat.”
Knowing something I created became part of an experience that meant so much to others fills my heart. Thank you for trusting me, encouraging my creativity, and welcoming what I had to offer.
BLOOM is my word for 2026. When I chose it, I couldn’t have known all the ways its meaning would unfold. Now I see it in the friendships that have grown, the experiences I’ve said yes to, and the confidence I’m finding in my own gifts.
I’m still learning and discovering where this path will lead. But I feel clearer about what brings me joy: creating with heart, connecting with others, and finding ways to give something meaningful back.
“My heart is open to gratitude. I recognize the love and support already surrounding me.”
November Moon Rhythm
The Moon’s phases are astronomical events. These prompts are optional Lotus Harbor reflections, not claims that the Moon causes emotional or physical changes.
This month’s moon phases are gentle reminders to pause, reflect, and make room for gratitude.

What can I set down to make more room for connection and appreciation?
NEW MOON | NOVEMBER 9

A Small Practice for a Grateful Heart
Gratitude doesn’t have to be a long list or a perfect morning routine. Sometimes it starts with noticing one small kindness or remembering someone who made a difficult day feel lighter.
Take a quiet moment with your journal and reflect:
Who are three people I’m grateful for right now?
What has their presence meant to me?
How can I let one of them know this week?
Write a few honest lines, then turn one into a text, a phone call, or a handwritten note. It doesn’t need to sound polished. “I’ve been thinking about you, and I’m so grateful you’re in my life” is enough.
With a Grateful Heart
To everyone who has shown up for me this year: I see you, and I appreciate you. Whether you’ve visited an event, shared my work, created alongside me, or offered a kind word when I needed it, your presence has made a difference.
Lotus Harbor has brought so much more into my life than I could have imagined. This November, I’m especially grateful for the people who have helped me bloom.
Who has shown up for you this year, and have you told them what it meant?
With a full heart,

Pause. Create. Reconnect.
A Grateful Heart
This November, I’m reflecting on the love, friendship, and kindness already present in my life. An open heart feels like a meaningful place to begin.
HEART CHAKRA + ROSE QUARTZ
In contemporary crystal practices, rose quartz symbolizes love and compassion and is associated with the heart chakra. For this month’s reflection, I’m choosing it as a reminder to appreciate the people who show up and to share my gratitude with them.
If you have a piece of rose quartz, place it beside your journal as a personal reminder while you write about someone you’re thankful for.
